AIMIM (Mumbai) Core Committee Meeting Held at Nagpada Head Office

Mumbai: The core committee meeting of All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen was held at AIMIM head-quarter Nagpada, Mumbai. All senior party members were present and discussed about the exapansion of AIMIM activities, suspension of MLA Waris Pathan from Maharashtra Assembly, current political situation and structure of AIMIM body in the state etc.

The meeting held in Nagpada saw participation of core group members including Sayyed Moin (President, AIMIM Maharashtra), Abdul Rehman Patni (President, AIMIM Mumbai), Adv. Waris Pathan (AIMIM MLA, Byculla ), Aabid Sayyed (AIMIM Gen. Secretary, Mumbai), Pandit Borde, Dr. Abdul Gaffar and Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Party members presented flower bouquets to core group members.

Mr. Waris Pathan presented his experience about how he was pressurised and threatened from all the parties including BJP, Shiv Sena, Congress, NCP and Samajwadi to chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ in Maharashtra Assembly after he refused to chant it. Pathan said 195 members were present in assembly who were forcing to chant the slogan but he was not afraid of anyone and was ready to face any consequences and house suspended him from ongoing budget sessions.

Waris Pathan requested all party members to be united for strengthening the party and not to afraid from anyone.
