What Kind of Justice is This Mr. Prime Minister? – AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Asks

Maharashtra: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi while addressing a rally in Hingoli invoked Saudi Arabia’s Highest Civilian Award conferred on Prime Minister Modi to target the NIA turn-around in the Malegaon blast case.

“There are hundreds of Muslims who have been jailed during the Congress tenure. Some are in prison since more than seven and eight years. Will this government also see if evidences against them are true?” Owaisi asked.

Questioning the double standard of the government vis-a-vis its handling of terror related cases, Asaduddin Owaisi asked if cases against hundreds of Muslims who are languishing in country’s jail will also be revived.

Questioning the NIA’s stand that the motor cycle belonged to Sadhvi, but it was not in her possession and was used by her freinds, Owaisi asked why the same parameter is not applied against the 1992 blast accused. “A woman has been convicted in the 1992 Mumbai blast case merely because the Maruti Suzuki car used in the blasts was in her name. She should also be set free if the NIA stand on Sadhvi has any merit.” “What kind of justice is this Mr. Prime Minister?
